Meteor Shield

One shield segment protects the entire station. Rotate the arc around the station and intercept incoming meteors at the moment they reach the defense ring. Each impact heats the shield core, so a long sequence on one side can overheat it. Venting cools the core quickly but temporarily slows shield rotation, forcing you to choose safe moments to recover.

How to Play Meteor Shield

Use A and D or Left and Right Arrow to rotate the shield around the station. Incoming meteors are visible both in space and on the threat radar. Position the shield arc over the meteor's arrival angle before it reaches the defense ring. Heavy meteors create more shield heat and cause more hull damage if missed. Hold Space to vent the shield core; venting cools it faster but greatly reduces rotation speed. If the shield overheats, it temporarily shuts down until the core cools. Survive all five meteor waves while preserving station hull and building interception combos. Press P to pause, M for sound, F for fullscreen and R to restart the current wave.

About Meteor Shield

Meteor Shield is a single-player browser defense game built around one rotating shield segment. Meteors approach the station from every direction, so the player must predict their arrival angle and move the shield into position before impact. Heavy rocks create more heat, fast shards leave less reaction time and later waves attack from opposite sectors. Repeated interceptions heat the shield core, while venting cools it quickly at the cost of slower rotation.
